South America for Visitors: "Suriname has been somewhat in the news recently as the home of two brothers connected with the investigation into the Disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba.
Aruba Cops Arrest Two Brothers Again (AP) 'Satish, 18, and Deepak Kalpoe, 21, were arrested along with a third person... after being released from jail in July after a judge ruled there was not enough evidence to hold them in the disappearance of the 18-year-old American who disappeared on the final night of a high school graduation trip to the Dutch Caribbean island.'
The arrest follows the visit of Natalee's mother, Beth Twitty, with the Prime Minister of Aruba, Nelson Oduber, who admitted that Mistakes Said Made in Aruba Investigation , but asked Natalee's mother to tone down her remarks criticizing various aspects of the investigation by Aruban authorities.
In other news of the investigation, following a media visit to the prison where Joran van der Sloot is being held during the investigative process, an Aruban judge on Wednesday ordered a U.S. television network not to broadcast footage from a tour of an Aruban jail that shows the suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway: Aruba Judge to Network: Don't Show Suspect. The judge issued the order at the request of an attorney for the suspect, Joran van der Sloot and the warder of the prison who allowed and accompanied the prison tour, was released from duty.
A judge is scheduled to hold a hearing in September to determine if there is enough evidence to continue holding van der Sloot, who has not been charged in the case. "
